Events and workshops are added occasionally on specific dates to offer less traditional experiences to our schedule rotation. These classes often provide opportunities to help further refine a skill, help beginners feel more confident in their practice, educate on new skills and techniques, offer unique class experiences, and more!

The classes are typically a higher rate than a standard drop-in class, but a little more affordable than private. Class capacity varies depending on the nature of the workshop being offered.

Community Yoga Food Drive

Focus Flow Eka Pada

Eka Pada Koundinyasana is an arm balance where one leg is extended back while the other is rested on the arm extended forward. It is a powerful arm balance that is strengthening as well as empowering for the spirit, it requires a mind body connection that helps foster more self trust as well as physical strength. Although quite a lot of veteran practitioners will say that once you "master" it, it no longer feels hard but almost feels as though you are flying.

Eka Pada is often cue'd in a class but often there are some key elements that we as teachers miss teaching in a day to day class, mostly due to time constraints and other reasoning.

This one hour class will help set the foundation to float into our peak pose Crow. Elements of this class may include;

•Preperatory poses that build the Strength and Flexibility required.

•Tips and tricks that give you the tools to achieve the desired outcome.

•Ways to modify the pose to a beginner level

•How to practice safely

  • 80+ = Room is heated to 80 degrees & may range from 80-90 degrees.

  • Hot = Room is heated to 90 degrees and may range from 90-101 degrees

  • Yin & Relax Refresh are Room Temp below 80 degrees

What you need?

  • Yoga mat, we have mats available to borrow and purchase if needed

  • Water - Stay hydrated!

  • Towel - Hand towel for sweat, some people prefer a full towel, if needed we have towels available to borrow, inquire upon check-in
